After the success of previous calls, we have opened a new classroom course on HD and 4K codecs, formats and workflows on June 22nd and 23rd.
To understand the new audiovisual scenario we have to see where we are and where HD and 4K digital video and cinema are heading. Every day professionals working in the audiovisual world have to deal with a wide variety of codecs, formats and media.
In this intensive course you will learn the difference between the different codecs and the processes that best suit each project. We will work with materials that will have different destinations and platforms.
The idea of this course is that you learn to choose the workflow that best suits your project without compromising the quality of the final result. For this it is important to have a clear knowledge of the basics of compression until its evolution to UHD and 4K.
In the construction of digital images many concepts coming from the camera come into play that are also important to know. We will explain in depth some of them such as logarithmic curves, LUTs, RAW, etc…
In order to get the best out of the work done from the shooting to the delivery of the final file, we will see and study the different phases of post-production. What workflow is the most appropriate if my project is for film or television? Is the process the same for internet or mobile? Each project has different needs and with this course you will be able to answer all these questions.
As a teacher we will have Elena Humanes, a colorist with extensive experience in television, film and internet.
Don’t miss out and reserve your place for the HD and 4K codecs, formats and workflows course here.
