What is Kinefinity MAVO?

Kinefinity is a company that is slowly making a name for itself in the independent film world. From an unknown company in China, the company now produces some very recognizable products. The latest of these is the MAVO film camera, and Kinefinity is starting to gain a reputation for some excellent products. MAVO and MAVO LF are two of the company’s latest releases.
Kinefinity MAVO
Aimed at the independent cinematography market, the very compact MAVO exhibits some very attractive specifications. Title one of which is 6K recording (both 6016 x 2520 and 6016 x 3172 DCI as well as 6016 x 4160 open door) at up to 60 fps. Depending on the 4K format you choose, it is also capable of recording at up to 100 fps, with 150 fps available in 3K mode.
Full frame
The camera is available in two versions, MAVO and MAVO LF. The latter version is the full frame variation (36×24 mm), while the former maintains an S35 sensor (24×16 mm). On the other hand it is adaptable, too, with replaceable lens mounts available in almost any variation you require. From PL to E-mount, EF mount and Nikon F mount.
Recording is done on 2.5″ SSD in a single slot, which means that as long as the disk is fast enough you can use the third party drive of your choice. Power consumption is also good for 21 W.
