Warren Eagles is a well known colorist and member of the ICA (international Colorist Academy). He is a DaVinci Resolve operator and teaches this program through the ICA and fxphd courses. In addition in his Youtube profile he has many interesting short tutorials. In this one he explains in detail how to go from FCP7 to Resolve, not only exporting the XML but detailing how to conform tracks and effects. Highly recommended, here it is.
