Industrial Revolution has added another plugin to the growing FxFactory collection, this time aimed at Final Cut Pro X users.
Xeffects Snapshots has a wide variety of templates to place photos, add a frame and a background (107, to be exact) using its 3D on-screen controls. Thanks to them, we can create an animated composition in just a few seconds and even add text to it.
It has a drag & drop interface similar to that of FCP X, in which we simply choose the frame we want to freeze with the blade and, by moving the simplified X, Y, Z controls, we can position the image, animate the chosen template or the background in a 3D space.
This collection also includes four transitions and a series of elements to create and customize frames and backgrounds.
Here is a short tutorial for you to learn the basic handling of the plugin.
On this page it is possible to download the free trial (comes with watermark) or buy Xeffects Snapshots for $99. It requires at least Final Cut Pro version 10.1.1, Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9 and FxFactory 4.1.7 installed.
