The monitor comes pre-calibrated from the factory and with a free re-calibration always available for users who want to send their units to an FSI service department. You can have your own 3D + 1D LUT based calibration, with advanced color management solutions: LightIllusion’s LightSpace CMS or SpectraCal’s CalMAN. Moreover it presents waveform and vectorscope for 4K as compatible monitors.

A wide variety of markers, standard and safety areas are available and can be displayed as lines, translucent overlays or solid overlays. To make it more practical, lines and overlays have selectable colors to customize them to your liking.

In terms of connectivity, the XM650U monitor features 12 Gbps SDI connections, simplifying room design by allowing 4K and UHD signals to be sent to the display on the same cable. Quad 1.5Gbps and 3Gbps SDI connectivity is also supported on the 2SI and Square Division based variations ensuring compatibility with virtually any type of 4K or UHD output. The monitor also supports advanced 12bit 4: 4: 4 YCbCr, RGB and XYZ. On the output side, it can provide real time downscaled HD resolution in real time in addition to 12Gbps SDI loop outputs, being able to feed the signals XM650U UHD while sending HD to connected HD monitors or displays without having to rely on a separate downconverter.
