5 years have passed since we launched the first edition of the 4K 709 guide and now we are relaunching the new updated version. What has been a reference for technical audiovisual training, is now also a starting point to get up to date with new formats, resolutions, color spaces, etc…

The creators of the guide, experts not only in training but also working professionals in the audiovisual sector, have written this guide with all types of readers in mind. Whether you are more junior or more experienced, it is a basic and essential tool. Luis Ochoa, creator of 709mediaroommain colorist of Sala Contraluza 4K workflow designer and HDR enthusiast, brings his more technical side to the table. Many years of research and training have helped him to become one of the first HDR experts in Spain. Having worked in the different fields of post-production allows him to have an overview of workflows from capture to broadcast.

Francisco Utray, also creator of the 4K guide is an expert in audiovisual training. With a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, PhD and professor in the Department of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at the Carlos III University of Madrid, he is insatiable in teaching and research, as his publications in this field support.
