Mikme Pocket, a Wireless Audio Solution for Low-Budget Shoots

Mikme Pocket is an audio solution for low-budget shoots. It reduces audio logistics by unifying the function of audio transmitter and recorder in a single device wirelessly. It simplifies things even further by only requiring a mobile phone to connect to, without the need for an extra receiver.

From the company itself, they announce mikme pocket as “a studio-quality sound option for beginners and professionals”. The simplicity when using it is one of the most notable features of this system as it has a very intuitive and easy setup. Through the application, up to 3 devices Mikme Pocket can be connected and controlled and edited from the mobile phone. Beyond sound, it also allows basic content editing.

In the development of Mikme Pocket, security has been another feature where they have placed the most attention. As it works via Bluetooth, the possibilities of losing the signal are always present and to avoid the loss of recordings, a security system has been developed whereby the device records locally. These local recordings can be synchronized later and easily with just one button. It comes with an internal memory of 16GB, which is about 360 hours in M4A or 36 in WAV format.

Designed especially for vloggers or journalists, the package includes a lavalier microphone, and for those who need other types of solutions, it can be purchased with a lapel microphone.

The gain is adjustable from 0 to 30 dB, it has an audio frequency band of 25 to 22000 Hz and a sampling depth of 24 bits.

It can be connected to the Mikme Pocket via a micro USB and the battery has an autonomy of approximately three and a half hours.

When purchasing a Mikme Pocket, they offer different deals and options, depending on the needs of each shoot, starting from 369 euros for the most basic option, and if you want the lavalier microphone, it would be 149 euros more.
