New UC3M and 709mediaroom editing and post-production editing workshop

The new Editing and postproduction workshop developed in collaboration between Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the 709mediaroom platform. This is an online workshop where students will learn to edit, create visual effects and animate graphics, color correction techniques and sound mixing using the free tool DaVinci Resolve.

709mediaroom has always been linked to training in classroom and online mode, and now does so in collaboration with the Carlos III University of Madrid. Together they have developed a program adapted to the current needs of the sector to cover all facets of the audiovisual creative process. In this way, experts in each subject will be in charge of teaching the classes of each DaVinci Resolve module.

On the part of UC3M the faculty is formed by Francisco Utray, also director of the workshop, Sergio Márquez and Ana Mejón, 3 professionals with extensive experience in the audiovisual field. On the part of 709mediaroom, the teachers will be Luis Ochoa, Elena Humanes and Jorge Molina, already known if you have already done a course with us and also active professionals.

The workshop has 15 places available and although it is online, students will have personalized sessions to focus more on the part of the training they want. To take the course you must have a computer with the free editing and postproduction software DaVinci Resolve installed. It is currently a very widespread tool among professionals and with which you can work a piece from editing to sound post-production through all phases up to mastering. If you have no previous experience with the program, a free tutorial will be provided to introduce you to the program.

The workshop starts on September 28 and ends on January 11, 2021 and the registration period is already open. You can sign up until September 20 and has a cost of 700 €.
