RE: Grade complements your color correction arsenal by providing unique new ways to manipulate contrast, saturation and exposure to create super sharp images even from videos that might be considered unusable. RE: Grade is sure to be a colorist’s new best friend when it allows a video to be color corrected. It also includes the look and feel and sanity-saving tools in the color workflow of various applications, including support for 3D LUT inversion.
RE: Grade includes a unique Automatic Contrast Enhancement (ACE) tool useful for difficult situations of mixed lighting or very uneven lighting (such as shooting against a window).
RE: Grade introduces a unique method of multiple resolution processing with global contrast, local contrast and per-pixel sharpening in a single tool, providing adjustments at different scales without creating artifacts such as halos, rings or clamps that other techniques can produce. It is useful for SDR to HDR processing to reveal details in shadows or to handle extreme level reallocation (due to incorrectly exposed areas or unknown log curves).
