Blackmagic releases Camera 3.4 update

Blackmagic Design has released update 3.4 for its Blackmagic Production Camera 4K.

These are the new additions:

• Support for SDI start and stop recording, which allows working with external video recorders, such as Blackmagic Video Assist.

• RP-188 timecode output, also intended to output the exact same timecode that the camera carries to the external recorder via SDI.

• Enhanced support for 6G-SDI output

These options were already available for the URSA and URSA Mini models, but now the company has decided to add them to its Production Camera 4K with the intention of facilitating their use with external monitors and recorders.
