New Celsius workstations

Fujitsu has launched three new Celsius workstations, two 21-liter towers and one 10-liter tower.

While all three models are powered by Intel Xeon processors, the Workstation Celsius J550/2 (10 liters) and the Celsius W570power+ (21 liters) share a Core i7-7700, whereas the W570 (21 liters) has an Intel Xeon E-3 1220v6.

All three towers can be equipped with NVIDIA Quadro P600 (2GB), P1000 (4GB), P2000 (5GB) or P4000 (8GB) graphics cards, although the latter can only be retrofitted with the W570power+.

All of them come with the Windows 10 operating system preinstalled, but also support Windows 7.

Another difference is that the Celsius J550/2 has the option of adding a PCI port. There are also differences with respect to the top model, the W570power+, in the internal disk and memory. Both the J550/2 and the W570 have a 1000GB SATA III HDD, while the power+ goes up to 2,000GB. On the other hand we would have the 8GB of DDR4-2400 memory, compared to the 16GB of the W570power+.

Finally, the new Celsius W570power+ comes with a 400W power supply.

Prices for these workstations are as follows (separate charts):

  • Celsius J550/2: 950€ (excl. VAT)
  • Celsius W570: 1.032€ (excl. VAT)
  • Celsius W570power+: €1,179 (excl. VAT)
