Universe 1.6

Red Giant yesterday updated Universe, its plug-in platform for editing and motion graphics, to version 1.6.

In this update, 6 new premium tools have been added:

• Heatwavegenerates a heat distortion effect and comes with controls to manage its intensity, direction, speed, quantity, etc.

• Point ZoomZoom with a blurred or glow style added to create the look of a projected hologram when applied over text or an image.

• Diffuse Color Glowisolates a particular color within the material and applies a glow only to that color.

• Soft Gradient BackgroundSoft Gradient Background: a looping gradient background generator that integrates fractal noise and textures.

• Spectralicious6-color gradient effect with controls for blending, exposure and saturation modes.

• Spectralicious Transitioncreates a 6-point color map from clip A and clip B and uses these colors to add the transition between the two.
