Direct upload to Vimeo from Lightworks

For those of you who still don’t know Lightworks, it is a totally free and multiplatform editing system (Windows, Linux and Mac OS X), capable of working with most of the current codecs and resolutions. However, as usual, this version has many limited functions because there is also a Pro version, for which you have to pay(here you can compare them).

Now, its developer Editshare has released version 12.6, which adds native 1080p export for Vimeo, both for users of the free and Pro versions. This means that it is possible to post videos on this platform without leaving the editing software.

It is also possible to upload videos in 2160p or 4K, but this requires the Lightworks Pro version (paid) and a Vimeo Pro subscription.

Apart from this, the prices for annual subscriptions to the system will be reduced by 40% and Boris FX is offered free of charge as part of the package. Here you can see all the prices.
