Yesterday, version 2 of LiveGrade Pro, Pomfort ‘s solution for color management and look creation on set, was officially launched. These are the main new features added:
Support for ACES
With this update comes a new mode for working in the ACES color space, supporting your workflows with IDT, ACESlog, RRT and ODT filtering.
It is also possible to export a CDL (Color Decision List) to take our corrections to systems such as Scratch, Nucoda or DaVinci Resolve.
New Device Manager
LiveGrade Pro recognizes a wide variety of controllers and LUT boxes. Therefore, a new Device Manager has been added to better manage these devices. Multi-camera and multi-monitor shoots will benefit from the ability to group or mix up to three devices (IS-Mini, HD-Link and Pluto) in each slot, allowing simultaneous correction to be applied to multiple devices.
Application for iPhone
An iOS app has been integrated to enable remote control via a WiFi connection. In this way, users can select and apply corrections, or switch between different connected devices.
Other functions
In addition to a revamped, darker and adjustable interface, the new capabilities allow JPG, TIFF and DPX files to be opened for look creation and application, or simply as a method of comparison.
LiveGrade Pro 2.0 and LiveGrade Basic 2.0 are now available from the Pomfort website. The application for iPhone and iPod touch can be found in the App Store.
The complete system is priced at €679 and upgrades at €119 for LiveGrade Pro users and €299 for LiveGrade customers.
Works with Mac OS X 10.8 or higher.
