Last week Sony presented its new professional monitor BVM-X300, belonging to the TRIMASTER EL series.
These monitors are characterized by their OLED technology and specific design for color correction and quality control, but in addition, the BVM-X300 comes with three advances that differentiate it from the rest of its peers.
- 4K Resolution: It is the first of the BVM line to support full 4K resolution (4096 x 2160). Through its four 3G-SDI inputs, it accepts this type of material, YCbCr 4:2:2 10 bit with speeds up to 60p.
- HDR: The new High Dynamic Range mode combines the black levels recognized in Sony monitors with maximum brightness.
- Rec. 2020Rec. 2020 color space for Ultra HD has been incorporated (although it does not cover it in its entirety), which joins the existing DCI P3, Rec. 709, SMPTE-C, EBU, S-GAMUT3 and SGAMUT3.cine gamuts.
Apart from these qualities, the BVM-X300 has a 30-inch screen, with 750.2mm of visible area (diagonal). Here you can see the rest of its specifications and consult the points of sale.
