Glue Tools has announced new AMA plug-ins available for the Avid Media Composer editing system.
ARRIRAW AMA
Thanks to this plug-in you can load and playback “.ari” files natively within Avid. Thus, all import, playback, debayering, white balance and color correction functions of ARRIRAW images can be performed.
In addition, being a raw material there is full access to existing in-camera metadata and color science.

Phantom Cine AMA
It allows you to work natively with Phantom raw “.cine” files within Media Composer, without the need for rendering or transcoding. On supported systems you will be able to playback, edit or transcode this type of material with ease, as well as adjust the color of the image using the same controls found in-camera.

Both plugins are compatible with Mac OS X (10.7.5 or higher) and Windows 7 (64-bit) operating systems. At least Media Composer version 7 and an NVidia or AMD/ATI card with OpenCL support are required.
They can be purchased for $499 for the ARRIRAW plugin and $399 for the Phantom Cine plugin from the official Glue Tools website.
