Assimilate and Studio Daily have organized a free webinar named as “Shooting, Color and Post with the Sony CineAlta F5, F55 and F65“.
Bringing it will be cinematographer Tomas Tucker and Alex MacLean, colorist at Colorflow. They will explain their experience in an in-depth camera test of the Sony CineAlta family. In addition, Alex will use the Assimilate Scratch system to illustrate and discuss the workflows around each camera, and detail his experience color correcting, compositing and finalizing images from all three cameras.
The items to be discussed are as follows:
- What to consider when evaluating F5, F55 and F65 for a project.
- The different image characteristics of the F5, F55 and F65 and their significance in post-production.
- How the workflows of each CineAlta camera differ.
- The pros and cons of RAW vs. log vs. MPEG recording.
