PocketControl for ARRI Alexa Mini and ARRI AMIRA

Pomfort has released its new PocketControl for ARRI cameras. This is the first iOS app that allows users to remotely control and monitor their ARRI Alexa Mini and ARRI AMIRA cameras from their iPhone or iPad.

This application connects to the camera via Wifi, and uses ARRI’s CAP to give users remote access to the camera’s menu through which parameters such as exposure, neutral density filters or look can be adjusted.

Recording can also be stopped remotely through this application.

Characteristics:

• Access to camera configuration options through the application, and monitor changes made to the camera instantly.
• Adjusting camera settings from within the application. Settings such as white balance, exposure, neutral density filters, look, fps, etc. can be adjusted.
• Start and stop recording through the application.
• Display and apply looks that are stored in the camera, including looks included in the ARRI Library
• Create custom looks using the application’s basic color grading controls, as well as store and save them in the material.

This application will be available for free download, which will have monitoring options. However, in order to use the monitoring options, you will have to purchase the paid option of the application, for a price of $169.99.
