Sony launches the Cinema Line series

Sony launches Cinema Line with the intention of enhancing the digital cinema content creation experience. To adapt to each type of profile, Sony makes available to its users new products and formats that join its wide range of cinema and professional camcorder.

Sony, experts in digital cinema, has pooled its experience, technology, resources and passion to bring to market the new Cinema Line series that features a wide range of cameras, some existing and others that are coming to meet the needs of more and more content creators.

As pioneers in 24p digital cinema, we find the HDW-F900, which has been followed by cameras used in some of the main audiovisual productions, such as the Sony VENICE, a reference today for digital creation. The Cinema Line includes, among others, the aforementioned VENICE, the FX9, and as a novelty, the new FX6 is expected to be launched by the end of the year.

Echoing user feedback, Sony will release new updates based on feedback from professionals to improve the user experience. In addition to FX6 in 2020, FX9 version 3 is expected, this time for 2021. This new update will feature the new S700PTP remote control system, it will also feature a Center scan mode for Super 16mm and B4 lenses with its adapter.

Sony VENICE is not far behind and will also have its new version, V6.0, which will include new functions that will help the handling and operability of the camera, especially for live broadcasts and broadcasts.
