As a token of appreciation to its users, Stupid Raisins is offering Data Pop Free, a set of 4 titles for Final Cut Pro X with which to animate data through graphs and charts.
The four available templates are:
- Bar Graph
- Pie Chart
- Ring Chart
- Number Chart
Data Pop Free is distributed through FxFactory. If you don’t have it yet you can download the latest version 4.1.3 (required) from this link. These are the compatibility requirements:
Once installed, you will find the Data Pop Free icon at the top of the application. Simply click on download and the four models will appear in the Final Cut Pro X title browser (if you have the editing system open, you will have to restart it).
* FCP X version 10.1 or higher and OS X 10.9 are required.
As always, the application of the effect is very simple, dragging and dropping to the timeline. Depending on the template in question, you can modify the color, size and position of the graphics, as well as the text styles and backgrounds.
Although this is not the most common type of effects used in an audiovisual montage, it is true that they can be useful in certain cases, and we must not forget that they are FREE.
I encourage you to take a look at our Final Cut Pro X Course scheduled for April, where you can learn the basics of the tool and objectively consider some of its rumors.
