Module 1: Fundamentals

What is Vibecoding? Course philosophy, what an LLM is, the three pillars: intention, dialogue, and verification.
Programming and Python Fundamentals. Variables, conditionals, and loops. What Python is and why DaVinci uses it. Script, API, work environment. Python installation on Mac and Windows.
The DaVinci Resolve API. Hierarchical structure, official documentation, reference sources, and using the LLM as a co-pilot.
Think Before You Code: From Problem to Prompt. Problem definition, what’s worth automating, decomposition, and design from the result.

Module 2: Your First Real Scripts

Your first real script and the mistakes you’ll make. Clip renaming script as a common thread. Common API errors and the debugging cycle with the LLM.
Internal script: delete markers by color.
External script: export project data to Excel. Script that extracts information from Resolve and dumps it into a tracking sheet.

Objectives

Master the Vibecoding methodology and the use of LLMs as technical co-pilots, integrating the pillars of intention, dialogue, and verification to transform operational needs into precise automation solutions without needing to be a coding expert.
