Color management helps all members of the color chain maintain consistency: the same image can be viewed identically throughout the entire production, from shooting to final export.
ACES is a free standard adopted by most image device manufacturers: cameras, color software, VFX, etc., enabling proper management for all production members: from DITs and cinematographers on set to colorists in grading and final mastering.
In this course, we will learn about the components of ACES, its methodology, and how to apply it in practical examples with DaVinci Resolve, although these examples can then be transferred to any other system that uses ACES. We will also see how to solve possible problems and situations that may arise from using this system.
