Rumores de las novedades del Avid MC 6
Al parecer con todo el alboroto que se ha armado con la presentación en NY de la nueva versión de Pro Tools 10 a los de Avid se les han traspapelado las notas de prensa y se ha filtrado un artículo con las novedades del MC 6.
Cierto o no que ha sido filtración inintencionada la verdad es que la cosa promete. Algunas de las características ya habían sido anunciadas (ejemplo en este video) como el soporte para la controladora de corrección de color Artist Color, la reeescritura del software a 64b, las herramientas estereoscópicas, el soporte a más hardware de terceros para I/O (Aja, Blackmagic, Matrox, ect) o el AMA con codecs AVCHD
Pero otras aunque muy esperadas todavía estaban por confirmar: DNXHD 444, soporte para Epic, interfaz más personalizable o mezcla de audio en 7.1 y algunas parece que de momento se quedan todavía en ensoñación como el aumento de resolución al menos a 4K o la mejora del corrector de color (vaya, liberar de una vez el corrector del Symphony que todos sabemos que el MC tiene dentro)
En cualquier caso tiene buena pinta, y quién sabe si los de Avid no se pondrán las pilas a última hora y nos darán alguna sorpresa final 🙂
